Experience

I had no idea this class would be so intriguing. I believed it was simply another business module when I first heard the word "brand corporate identity" and had no clue what it meant. As a designer, I was pleasantly delighted to see that it put a lot of emphasis on the brand's creative aspect. The experience was enhanced by the freedom we had to create our own brand and set of guidelines. No other method would be desirable to me for learning how to develop a brand identity. Instead of being given a pre-existing idea, it was really beneficial to start from zero and develop a brand based on our inspiration and enthusiasm. I'm rather happy with this class overall. I appreciate Ms. Lilian a great deal for helping me construct Bunny Haven to the best of my ability and for guiding me when I was lost.

Observations

I was able to examine a variety of brands' styles through this module, attempting to comprehend how each brand's style is achieved and how each component links to the brand's overall identity. I now genuinely admire and find myself curious in the brand's logo, wondering how the designers achieved such a look. Additionally, I have to continuously monitor my work since I want to maintain Bunny Haven's uniform appearance throughout all apps. It was easier said than done, but I knew I had to maintain consistency to avoid seeming too mismatched or out of place.

Findings
This module learnt me a lot about my own and logo design. I came to see how crucial reasoning is while designing a logo. Although I've always believed that my café concepts should have a classic appearance, working on Bunny Haven forced me to consider stylistic advances for more enjoyable and understated enjoyment. My capacity to produce something of which I am genuinely proud astounds me. I learnt from this experience to not be scared to experiment with new techniques.
