Project 2A_ Production shoot video
Requirement
This assignment aims to explore students to production shooting and editing environment.
Project 2 consist of: 2 x Shooting & Editing exercise
(Shooting: Group; Editing: Individual).
In Project 2A, we were split up into groups to work as a production team to create a short film based on a set storyline. The Japanese romantic drama 'Silence' is the subject of our film. This time, the assignment was to shoot in groups and edit individually. Production filming was scheduled on the scheduled dates. Each crew member performed their allocated positions effectively during filming to ensure perfect teamwork. The position I was assigned was gaffer. As a gaffer is the head of the electrical department, responsible for the design and execution of the lighting plan for a production. After production is over, each member of the crew edits the footage independently, bringing their unique creative viewpoint to the finished result.

Production Shooting Behind the scene (Week 5: 26/09/2023)
Editing Progress
Our team members documented the scene, then saved it to Google Drive so that each person could download and modify the audio and video separately. Additionally, we've noted which sounds and scenes are suitable for editing. I downloaded the audio and video to get started on editing. I then used Adobe Premiere Pro to edit the scene after importing the footage. I raised the dialogue's level and included music, sound effects, and ambient noises to the video after editing it to fit the Japanese drama theme's tone. In the end, I adjusted the tone of the video by starting
with more red and in the middle with more blue.
