Experience:
The advanced layout is much more complicated than it was in the first semester, but there are a lot more creative and experimental choices this term than there were in the one before it. It's fun and opens up new ideas for me. In general my study into typography has been stimulating, and this course module has provided me with priceless knowledge.
Observation:
I realised that I still have a great deal to learn and develop. I am still struggling with creativity, and it takes up a lot of my time. I felt that I needed to look at and explore more work made by other people in order to develop my skills and ideas.
Findings:
Planning ahead and managing your time well are crucial skills that may be acquired from this experience. My lecturer, Mr. Vinod, patiently updates the weekly assignments about my work, and I am grateful for his insightful advice. Students who may have trouble organising and organising their time benefit greatly from this approach. It surprised me how much fun I had with this module even if I'm not very good with typography.
